• Receiving active treatment at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX

  • Referred by an MD Anderson Cancer Center Social Worker 

  • Must have child(ren) under the age of 21

  • Demonstrate financial hardship as it relates to incurred uninsured medical expenses due to treatment (i.e. hospital bills, lodging, transportation, meals, childcare, etc.)

  • Must demonstrate a documented need for financial assistance consistent with the eligibility guidelines of an annual household income at or below 500% of the Federal Poverty  Guidelines

  • All applications submitted to our committee for review and subject to final approval

  • Must agree to use grant funding towards approved necessary expenses



Once you or a qualified caregiver has completed the grant application, you will be contacted for additional information should the review committee require further details. 


Limited funding available and each grant is reviewed on a case by case basis.
